Not sure if my comment is helpful, but I can confirm that for me too: the card always shows a bit greater values than the entity itself.
@UDicke you are right, _"override_state: true"_ also solved my issue. Thanks for figuring this out! The RTFM approach probably leads to success more often than I would like to admit...
