Is this PR abandoned? If this is still desired, I could try to get this to completion.
I think this should be reworked on top of the negativo17 change that is currently in progress
I am also missing the icon on a machine running the MATE desktop with Flatpak version 1.0.9.
Are these images intended to have more than one desktop environment? I think we would only have Cosmic in the final version.
From what I understand, those desktops are temporary and will go away from these images, long-term
I'd love to see this as well. There are distros out there like Fedora Silverblue where Flatpaks are the preferred method of app delivery.
This might be good to go in. The legacy driver build is showing NVIDIA_FLAVOR=nvidia, and the open build is showing nvidia-open.  
I removed the labels and it worked. I think something in the github action to parse labels to command line args is breaking it ❯ buildah bud -f Containerfile.nvidia --build-arg...
