I am running archlinux and Gentoo. Looks like there's snaps for Gentoo, and an AUR snapcraft package. Help is still appreciated, since I don't have much experience here.

@sebma Snap has been added to the GitHub release candidate for 2.2.1

Please try 2.2.1 We don't have enough development time to maintain 2.2.0.

It would be nice to have the autosave files prefixed with a "." dot rather than a pound "#"

at startup, it's possible to list autosave files found (in messages, or even a message box).
