OK, makes sense - thank you for the enhancement suggestion! Changing this GH issue from question to enhancement and adding it to the next release.

@probonopd I will definitely give it a try. BTW, there is no problem with Qt, but I need newer `g++` compiler then the default one shipped with 14.04.

@sebelk promote/demote note w/ children is feature, however, I think that promote/demote w/o children definitely makes sense and I miss it myself. Thanks!
