Seems like an issue with postgresql connection. Can you try if you are able to reproduce it somehow on a newer OS (CentOS 9 / CentOS 10) with the latest...
Fixed in next release.
Please reopen if you can simulate this again on AlmaLinux9 or CentOS 9.
Closing as CentOS 8 / EL8 is unsupported.

This was fixed in 421aaffd195e9aa3ebb301ab5af5aa7ce196d8c6 Happens only when using recent PostgreSQL (14+) as that uses SCRAM auth by default.
Same request from my side in fact :) A LOT of channels are still V1/V2 indeed. For example (all?) the channels that are bridged between OFTC IRC and Matrix.
Another thing that seems to be a problem. For Juniper they have http://www.oidview.com/mibs/2636/BGP4-V2-MIB-JUNIPER.html And for Cisco http://www.oidview.com/mibs/9/CISCO-BGP4-MIB.html
