@musianat Maybe worth doing an autosave in every, say, 10 steps or 20 steps. Not urgent and will require some thinking as to how to remember and recognize etc.

@musianat Next level again would be to check if user has unsaved annotations blah-blah. But, again, not as important as basic functionality.
