It appears this project is abandoned given the lack of response from the author. That said, if he’s still around, +1 on getting this fixed.

Ideally having an option to pass the version to the build command. We maintain dynamic versions that are centrally stored. I'd want to pass that version along to the build...

+1 - I'd love to see this. Also a way to give a specific file/path or string based "previous run" to regress against.
