My bad... I didn't know my XML validation well enough. Apparently a "naked ampersand" is invalid. It either needs to be part of an HTML encoding (like < for example)...

Can't you do a Cargo create within a rescue block? It's not ideal but that would work and would save you the "find + delete + create" dance.

How do you associate a pull request with an issue?
