Same problem on two y211ga that were on 0.3.0. Fixed by enabling ftp and logging in with root:pwd. Moved file, disabled ftp, rebooted and then cliked on Firmware Update button....
If you want them to vanish so badly, then use the master version. You easily can check when it will be fixed otherwise. New version? No? Not fixed. Yes? Fixed.
Just my 2 cents to this matter. The modified dll talks about zipped files, so shouldn't it be possible to get a rather reliable variant by first checking the VDF...
I dont know if this is a good idea... I don't plan to maintain it in the future. I made my own replacement as the addin now fails to modify...
