Okay, here's an example of some different programs' layouts. mcomix and gimp primarily. takeaway: `~/Library/Application Support/` is basically what `~/.config` is on other Unixes, as far as gimp is concerned....

Just tried it with aDosBox as well, it also fails.

My brand new un-rooted stock Android 8.1 Pixel 2 XL does this as well.
