I think this is possible but it'd probably involve some custom puslse audio logic. Right now it's not supported.

I'm not sure, it seems like an issue with pulse audio. I have never run pulse audio on mac so I am unfamiliar with it but it looks like cannot...

What happens when you run `ls -altr /tmp/mpd.fifo`?

I would definitely merge it, as long as the code was reasonable and so far what you have looks good. I originally wanted to do this design but did not...

Could you try completely changing the colors? Is it possible that it's not picking up the color scheme at all?
