Seems like this is related to having freezegun-0.3.11: https://github.com/pydanny/cached-property/pull/125.
Would it be a problem to use a different version of this font in Nixpkgs? I could reduce the package size by using the noto-emoji font packaged in Nixpkgs.

The script works fine using any of python2 or python3 (no error message whatsoever and the disk is unlocked afterwards).
