I suspect you might just not know how to install go apps. The syntax changed from what's on the README - try `go install github.com/fogleman/primitive@latest` instead - see #102

If this is “fixed” can it be optional as the original shadows are perhaps part of the charm for some people?

I'd be surprised if someone else hasn't already said this, but I'd say it's better to come to terms with the built in HTTP server before looking at a Framework...
