TBH: i dont think that this is a must have feature for the list view. Instead we should implement it in edit view.
yes, this is a client issue.
For me it sounds that this is a client side state issue (probably not cleaning up correctly after deletion). We probably do not need to poll the backend.
im still in favor of the compact list view (like jce media manager). Lets discuss this in the meeting next week.
