Woah, mind sharing that script? It sounds interesting. I am on vacation for a while but when I have time I will take a look at these.
This is already kind of a feature on the server, although it [looks like a flag](https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/pull/2497) rather than something you can set from the web client.
This would require server changes, but we're definitely hoping to add fields like this at some point in the future.
This is a known problem with the server media scanning, so I probably won't be able to do much until we implement something to handle it on that side.
Have you tried setting a bitrate limit in the app settings? If that works, it's an issue with direct playback.
Since it says purple, you probably need to include the activity names for every single color it supports to make sure they all have the proper icon from this pack.
Can you try reinstalling the app? Someone else mentioned it worked for them, so it could be a cache issue.
Were you able to solve this? I have seen it once or twice so I think it's a valid issue.
I'll leave it open a bit longer just in case :)
