`wsl --unregister docker-desktop` stopped working for me. I then tried the uninstall Docker and reinstalled it - that worked for me.
Uninstall / reinstalled latest and problem was fixed. I think this issue can be closed. @ghkgupta Doesn't look like anyone in docker is looking at this anyway.
