i totally agree that its not a good idea to attempt a multiplatform install script. it should be made possible and clear though that this great project can be used...

awsome! that will make apps feel more native, i couldnt figure out how to implement this in the generator myself, looking forward to clues

Try changing in busybox.sh Emacs TO emacs.bin Also chmod emacs.bin This made it start for me (in terminal mode - I kind of expected emacs24)

Manually running chmod 755 emacs.bin allows starting it.
