@pjambet do you mind trying this out with [the newest Tapioca release](https://github.com/Shopify/tapioca/releases/tag/v0.10.2) and letting us know how it affects execution time on your application?

Thanks for testing that (and for original reporting this); I'm glad to hear it's fast enough for your case! There's still some investigation and benchmarking to be done on Tapioca...

Make `require.rb` less necessary

@Morriar you and Ufuk have a branch somewhere with a prototype for this, right? If so, can you link it here?

This seems to be another case of https://github.com/Shopify/tapioca/issues/2016. We're looking into it.
