Fair enough; well IMO there's room for protobuf-ts to improve the ergonomics of string->enum lookups vs. what TypeScript provides out of the box, but I understand if you disagree.

The root password is definitely the biggest issue; if ssh is locked down then being on the wifi is far less useful. IMO it's still worth shuffling the wifi password...

@akshaysngupta what's the status here? https://github.com/envoyproxy/envoy/issues/33751#issuecomment-2074593048 suggests Windows has in fact been abandoned?
It sounds like it was decided to end Windows support as scheduled despite @akshaysngupta's efforts, @phlax should this issue be updated and closed?
