In my case the console does start, but fails as follows: ```bash dimitry@laptop:~/tmp$ jupyter console --kernel xcpp17 Jupyter console 6.4.0 __ _____ _ _ ___ \ \/ / _ \...
@petyrj that's not really a solution, but rather a workaround.
@mariop64 it seems to be working for me now: Although, I am not using Conda, but installed .deb packages from this PPA: https://launchpad.net/~ppa-verse/+archive/ubuntu/xeus-cling
@fslurrehman if you are on Debian/Ubuntu/etc Linux, I've made a Debian package, which you can find [here](https://launchpad.net/~ppa-verse/+archive/ubuntu/cling) and install using apt. No need for conda or pip.
@joshlk I've fixed the link. It's now hosted on [launchpad](https://launchpad.net/~ppa-verse/+archive/ubuntu/cling) and all sources are [here](https://salsa.debian.org/users/dimitry-ishenko/projects).

@securesocketfunneling @thomas-yuan is this still an outstanding issue?
@WestXu have you tried it in a Jupyter Notebook?
I thought I've tried that, but oh well... I am off onto bigger and better things :smirk: @WestXu thank you for checking. @miyakogi maybe a note can be dropped in...
@Cons-Cat I was able to do it. If you are still interested, please ping back.
