I don't want a switch plate to be mandatory for the build. The MX keyboard won't be a priority for now, but in the future we could make some tests...
Seeing that many people would like this version, I will probably make an MX version.
I will take a look on how to do it when I have time. Meanwhile, you can see how the switches are layed out with kiCad.
As far as I know, it is not possible to turn off the red power led, as this is not controlled by the microcontroller. However, the blackpill has another LED...

Yes, a 36 key version will be the next variant of the Cantor keyboard. I am waiting to having more feedback on the current version first.
