Refactoring the auth component to behave like it does on s1x would be a good idea. In my opinion the current Auth module is extremely bloated.

#445 adds this code to network.cpp considering this pr is massively out of date, I'm closing it.

We allegedly fixed this on develop. Going to leave this issue open for a bit longer to see if we get any new reports about this issue.

Bug now seems to happen less frequently than before but it's still there.

Can you try to disable `m_rawinput` ? Just a thought. To do so I suggest you open the console using `~` then type `\m_rawinput 0` then restart your game to...

Thanks for providing the additional information @timon122. We will keep in mind this is an issue and if needed attempt to fix the component that handles raw input

I will attempt to debug `Sys_StringToSockaddr` to confirm where and what fails.

Would probably need to test this issue with someone else to confirm. These bugs are usually caused by game scripts or UI scripts acting up

Could OP try again with the latest iw6x.exe? A lot has changed and it might have been fixed in the meantime.
