That's unfortunate :( It means that the components here are of no use. But at least it's an ESP32 and not some unsupported hardware by PlatformIO/ESPHome. So a ESPHome firmware...

Does reading from uart work when the device is running the vendor fw? You should see it logging. That needs to work first, and only then can you attempt to...
The logs don't have the relevant parts in there. You can try setting the logger to VERBOSE and then you'll see when HA is connecting to it. Generally it sounds...

Could you resolve the issue? Maybe building a firmware with the latest ESPHome helps? I have the same device, working without any hiccups since the creation of these components ;)
