According to documentation all the stuff I used is available for OS X v10.4 and later. So that shouldn't be an issue... Do you have more details on what's broken...
New integrations are very lengthy to review and without the actual device to validate the said integration things get even more complicated. Nothing wrong with this integration (on the contraire!!)...

I believe the issue is related to lost connectivity, it happens predictably in my car whenever it's in an underground garage and loses connection.
