Dev-friendly cafés

With more and more remote workers in Heraklion, I've been hearing more and more often the question:

"Hey, know of any cafés that are good options as a work environment?"

As the developer community in Heraklion, I feel DevStaff members should have the answer!!

Please feel free to contribute by either:

• suggesting your favourite café, in the comments below
• opening a PR for presenting this information to the public (e.g. on our website... somewhere else?)

Let me start with one suggestion:

Kafe Vivlio

has 2-3 rooms/spaces that are meant as reading spaces and are usually expected to be fairly quiet.

Cafe Puerto

Κακό wifi συνήθως, αλλά ησυχία, ηρεμία και καθαρός αέρας.

και ευκολο parking - απλα όχι τις Κυριακές :)

Hacienda Μασταμπας Στον πανω οροφο εχει τραπεζακια με πριζες διπλα. Καλο φαγητο και καφε. Το ιντερνετ δεν ειναι το καλυτερο οταν ειναι φουλ απο κοσμο.

Κάτι Γλυκό Καλό WiFi, ήσυχο, εύκολο parking.

@irinikp στον πάνω όροφο είναι σχετικά πιο ήσυχα. Ανεβαίνει λίγη από την βαβούρα που υπάρχει κάτω αλλά με ακουστικά είσαι οκ.

Pros: very quiet cafe (thought it would be busy due to it being a hotel), nice soft music at just the right volume, air-conditioned, nice chairs / tables for laptops.

Cons: ok, parking is not terrible, but also not the easiest.

Pros: Decent internet speed Variety of snacks if you 're hungry 🥪

Cons The music is a little bit loud for me Not all chairs are comfortable
