Semms to be a Waterdog issue and not related to CloudNet.

Thanks for your report! I noticed that quite a few times in the last weeks in the support and I hope I was able to fix this for the next...

I was not able to reproduce the issue in v4 for a long time now, and never heard of a new report in v4. I'm going to close this issue...

We are no longer accepting pull requests targeting v3.

After looking again it seems like the forwarding-secret presence check is there two times: during reading and during validation. Question is if we just create the file if it is...

Yea that, and I'm talking about [this check](https://github.com/PaperMC/Velocity/blob/dev/3.0.0/proxy/src/main/java/com/velocitypowered/proxy/config/VelocityConfiguration.java#L535-L539) and [this check](https://github.com/PaperMC/Velocity/blob/dev/3.0.0/proxy/src/main/java/com/velocitypowered/proxy/config/VelocityConfiguration.java#L138-L152)

Hi, I am pretty sure this is not a NPC-Lib Issue, I guess that either ProtocolLib is outdated or your "SimpPaper" is changing fields which shouldn't be changed.

The most interesting part of the stack trace is cut off (above the first line)

Thats the only option you relly have... But I don't see the use case of having a npc without a displayname anyways.

Can you provide more information? I do not understand the problem completely... 🤔
