Hi, sorry for the delay. For which hdp version and OS distro was this untrusted? I'd suggest having this as an attribute, as i'd prefer not to have insecure defaults.

I've encountered this as well. I could be wrong, but I believe ``LocalDataDir``s only get created for parameters defined at the role level, and not service-wide. Give that a try.
