I faced the same issue right now.
To fix it I removed the extension, closed the browser, and installed the extension again and then it worked.
I faced the same issue a couple of minutes ago. So, found on the internet a good suggestion that solved my issue related with. So, would you check if you have react devtools installed and working properly, otherwise install or remove/install again https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/react-developer-tools/fmkadmapgofadopljbjfkapdkoienihi?hl=en
After that, try to remove/install again react-context-devtool.
Hope that it works.
I had installed both React Dev Tools & React Context DevTool simultaneously. Faced this same issue. I simply closed my browser (Chrome) (quit: Ctrl + Q). Then restarted it. This resolved the issue.
I have this issue after last chrome update 114.0.5735.199 (Официальная сборка), (64 бит)
gente tive o mesmo problema e o que tiver que permitir e no google no gerenciamento de extensões tem que permitir a estensão acessar URLs e arquivos ai sim a extensão vai funcionar normalmente
I tried everything suggested in the comments here - tried it with and without React DevTools installed/enabled, restarted the browser many times, doesn't work.
Chrome Version 119.0.6045.160 (Official Build) (64-bit)
https://github.com/deeppatel234/react-context-devtool/issues/60
ı closed browser and restarted but it did not work. then I installed React developer tools then restarted browser but it didn't work again. lastly I restarted browser. closed the react app and restarted the app with "npm start" .. then it worked. to sum up, install react dev tool, restart browser, restart react app ..
React not found issue is resolved. The issue arose due to a change in the event name by the React DevTools team for the detection logic of React JS. Kindly update your extension to version 3.6 and verify if the problem persists. please let me know if you still facing the issue.
Note: This extension requires React Developer Tools installed on your browser to work. Try to install the extension and restart the browser to fix it.
