Yeah, the problem is that the dmg is signed and bundles on an x86 system, so it pulls in those libraries.

Nope, I have no idea who packages that, but if you look at the changelog of the rpm file, it should tell you who last modified it.

Afaik synapse doesn't return an error when presence is disabled, it just silently does nothing, so this might not be possible.
