@comur can you post a screenshot of the differences? This doesn't look like a bug to me, just a change in what was the original behaviour.

@zhaoxinpeng I can't reproduce this. My scanner picks up the EAN13 code perfectly fine. What device were you using?

Good point! Could you make a PR for this with your existing solution? I'll clean it up if needed, would just save a lot of the initial footwork.
