It *should* update the scheme.
We should set the scheme when you set the protocol (in the property setter). We do the same wtih port and target port (if target port is unset)

I have an app, I can test it and report back.
Fixed in latest with new deploy/publish ux.
I would love to have this in Aspire 9 @eerhardt @sebastienros. cc @radical to see if he has any advice WRT time to boot the container for testing.
