Thanks for these exchanges. I had a similar problem and it was the Citer package that was in conflict. Removing it solved my problem.

Feature request: deeper integration with Zotero

Have there been any developments on this? It would be wonderful to have this deeper integration with Better Bibtex - Zotero 5 and LatexTools.
