It appears that openSuSe has a new release. Hence, the sources.list needs to be updated as follows: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/windows:/mingw:/win32/openSUSE_Leap_42.3 http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/windows:/mingw:/win64/openSUSE_Leap_42.3 This fixes the bug of WinRPM.update() not downloading the packages
