Yes, you will need to create the file structure and unzip gecko into it.

I doubt it will work, the Boxedwine CPU emulator just isn't that good yet. I would think that Dosbox with Windows 3.11 installed would have a better chance of working,...

You can manually download it http://boxedwine.org/v/6/Wine-5.0.zip If you have run the Windows version, then in Users/AppData/Roaming/Boxedwine/, you will find files.xml. The url's are in there.
