Oh, sorry I was completely on the wrong path with purgeCss then. Should have checked postCss a bit more :-). Thanks @adamwathan for clearing up!

@edgars-vasiljevs Thank you for your fix! I can confirm that your changes work, I think it's safe to create a PR.

The proposed fix from #1763 isn't working for me either, reverted back to @edgars-vasiljevs solution.

@reinink @driesvints can we reopen this issue?

We are seeing the same behavior with our installation (snap with auto-update). This issue should be given high priority, as it causes some frustration due to the incorrect status.
