Reminder that we have definitions of confirmed-spendable and unconfirmed-spendable in https://github.com/zcash/zips/pull/607/files . If we decide on different definitions *or* refine the ones there, we should update the draft ZIP 315.
This is pending resolution of @str4d's https://github.com/zcash/zips/pull/638#discussion_r2449789073, so moving to draft.
This will need to be rebased to avoid a conflict with the merge of #1113. (Done)

I think we need to rename BOLT. That's already the name for Lightning Network specifications: https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd#lightning-network-specification-compliance . Given that both are payment channel protocols, this is too confusing.
In a blockchain context, "Plasma" would clash with [this](https://plasma.io).
