In this issue https://github.com/uunicorn/python-validity/issues/188 there is a workaround. I just tested it on 23.10 and it works.

I can confirm this workaround works on Kubuntu 23.10 on a Thinkpad t480s I used the following instead of Software and Updates `nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/uunicorn-ubuntu-open-fprintd-mantic.sources` and replace mantic with jammy
