I fixed the first issue in the latest `dev3`. The second one is mysterious... I hope fixing the first issue fixes that one as well since I have no initial...

Large allocations (>= 32 Mb) ignore reserved OS memory

Ah yes -- that is a "regression" in v3 and should be fixed. Hopefully we can get that into the next release :-)

Mmm, difficult to say what is going on. Can you try the latest `dev3` branch and see if the problem still occurs?
