Same here with Japanese VA0 motherboard. I thought it is casued by bad connection so i even cleaned the port but same sound glitches retain. I'm on latest v0.4 firmware

yes your are right, i can replicate the issue by pressing start/quit/restart system
Happened to me also on firm 0.4 after saving to ram cartridge ssfirm.bin or mcuapp.bin (don't remember which one) became corrupted with the same file size as SS_MEMS.BIN.
You can try removing C47 cap but someone reported it didn't change anything. https://github.com/tpunix/SAROO/issues/35#issuecomment-2119020749

Please fix the root of these kind of issues which is: ArkOs Menu -> Configure Input doesn't save/map: input_l_btn = "x" input_r_btn = "y" for ALL controllers. Thanks.
MX4SIO became very unstable to me also. I'm experiencing random freezes on PES 6 while this game was working very good on previous OPL beta releases.
Black screen appears just after boot. Default modes only.
any ideas why not working on MX4SIO? As i wrote it was working previously...
