Same issue hereI'm getting the same issue and has made it completely impossible to edit JS files. apparently connected to [this line](https://github.com/carlitux/deoplete-ternjs/blob/master/rplugin/python3/deoplete/sources/ternjs.py#L84)
Is this still being maintained because the issue is still present.

I used the InAppBrowser plugin and then had to pass a base64 image to it. I'm still investigating work arounds that will give better functionality but that's what I've come...
