Yep. It probably has to do with the operating system and some other parameters. Because on the old iMac with High Sierra the button is still missing in Gifox v2.6.1,...

If possible, provide a sample .ai or .pdf file. Since I have Alexander's script working.

The current versions of the scripts in the repository do not have this bug. I ran it on Mac OS and Windows 7 / 10.
