On Fedora 36 I get ccache: error: Failed to create temporary file for /run/user/1000/ccache-tmp/tmp.cpp_stdout.6cAvv5: Read-only file system whether I use the sandbox option or not, installed from npm or binary.

If you disable autosave and just save, is the behavior the same?

Caused confusion for me!

I could not get the directory example to work (load kv file from directory). Maybe it was because of this name issue.

Thanks for the explanation. It must've been something else. I am not sure, maybe it was looking in the wrong directory.
