I see, so instead of ctrl to show the extra options, you left click while in the drag. Makes sense, probably a trivial feature to add as well.

@grahamperrin One thing you can do is control the activation gesture, for example, you could switch it to shift + ctrl + right drag or ctrl + left drag, etc....

Thanks, this is already in the future plans to be addressed (mutating documents during drag). I'll keep this ticket open as an enhancement though so it's publicly tracked.
