Another suggestion which might be immediately actionable: concatenate outputs onto one line. It's a lot easier to visually skip over 5 lines than 17.
Another thought: should echo be mixed with other outputs in the GUI? Rather than change the console, create a new window which just has echo and "starting render with Manifold"...
