@cp2004 Just found https://github.com/OctoPrint/OctoPrint-Remove-ttyS-Ports but hadn't had the opportunity to test it. Maybe this helps? Not exactly sure it's about the same underlying issue.
You could do `apt dist-upgrade` if you wanted to upgrade (providing that the repositories in `/etc/apt/sources.list[.d/]` are updated).
