Is there a way to manually initiate a recreation of such images?

A timeline app with a viewer that exists already: [Github - timeline](https://github.com/nicbou/timeline). Perhaps it can be looked at to see what requirements it has/not have that are wanted for this...

The values of `state.get_rgb()` always return one of the rgb channels as zero when using the app and 'custom color'. I guess this is to be expected for a bulb...
