I abandoned this lib. Since it build on top of 'oidc-client' which is maintained, might as well use that. https://github.com/IdentityModel/oidc-client-js/ Then I followed this dude's [guide](https://www.richard-banks.org/2018/11/securing-vue-with-identityserver-part7.html) and now everything works...
