Based on (now abandoned) PR 1722. Added 2025 fingerprints.

I see discussion on seeking a better low speed signal. If comma prefers, I found a wheel motion sensor at 0x20E which can be used calculate speeds down to ~1mph, and it runs at 50fps. Please let me know if you prefer I rewrite the PR to point to this.

@mvl-boston I'll have to look closer at the situation with speed signals. But if we can get a dashcam route with LKA activation to check actuator range, we'll be able to iterate on a lateral tune, and we're otherwise close to merging.

I agree that ENGINE_DATA.XMISSION_SPEED is missing on Integra. However, checking a broad sample of other cars, CAR_SPEED.CAR_SPEED seems widely available. If the speed data we get from CAR_SPEED is good enough, what we may do is just switch all Honda to that message. That way Integra is no longer a snowflake.

On the Integra, wheelspeed zero-snaps around 3mph. If this is what all Hondas do, then presume engine data was used to - cover 0-3mph.

  • Carspeed is likely the display number like you said, and is 10fps
  • The new signal I found seems to zero snap around 1mph at 50fps.

How important is 1mph-3mph in the model? And how important is 50fps?
