This is a crash. It did not cause a purple screen.

I figured it was mainly a version of the minimize bug again, yeah, but just in case.

Regressing. Still an issue:  There's even some floating lava there, in the bottom left of the image. 6f5bf6cf

For some reason after loading the save the next morning, some of the lava rendered correctly.  Water also appeared to update, falling where it previously has remained suspended.
