RHEL6: Execution of '/sbin/start vmware-tools-services' returned 1

It looks like VMware has changed the URL of their packages for the latest VMware Tools: https://packages.vmware.com/tools/releases/latest/rhel6/x86_64/index.html for RHEL 6 for example.

[loki.source.kubernetes] restart of an alloy pod doubles the amount of logs in the log volume

We also have hit this - we're considering pulling pod logs from the on-disk logs rather than from the K8s API to work around this issue.

(maybe) 1.12 S3 Backend (nonAWS) Regression: skip_s3_checksum ignored?

I took a quick look at this and I think this is likely due to a change in the aws-sdk-go-v2 library. From the release notes on 2025-01-15 for that package...
